How to:

• Book a workshop at Kick Butt Coffee

Please Note: This is for unpaid gigs at Kick Butt Coffee. We also do paid gigs but in a concert format and usually only through a professional promoter.

Yes, booking is easy at Kick Butt Coffee, just:

1. Check our online calendar for openings at both Kick Butt Coffee locations.
2. Then email us at booking@kickbuttcoffee.com with the specific date(s) and time(s) you want to play. (Date, Beginning Time, Ending Time) Please remember this so we don't have to keep going back and forth over email to get the time right.
3. Assuming you suggested times that are available we will book you and email you a confirmation right away.
4. You will be added to the calendar so sending me a paragraph description would be appreciated to help us promote your show.

We are pretty booked up these days at the original Kick Butt on Airport Blvd., at the very least, you can find a time before other people play, on most nights, some Mondays and Tuesdays and an occasional Saturday. You can also attend our music open mic on any Thursday at 8pm at the Kick butt on Airport Blvd. We would love to have you at the open mic and it can give you a sense of the vibe of our venue. Our Second location is now open, which of course has not been booked up as much yet so there is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor. You can also attend our music open mic on any Wednesday at 8pm at this new 2nd location in "The Triangle." When you email I will add you to our Kick Butt Coffee Insiders list and the Kick Butt Musicians List and will periodically notify you of booking opportunities.

Both locations have stages with professional sound systems. These include: The Allen & Heath ZED-14 live mixer; Mic and Mic stands (but bring yours just in case); and LED lights. The Triangle location has a 120" projection screen suitable for morning workshops or meetings. Both locations also have a full bar including beer, wine and liquor and so, because of this, it is illegal to bring any outside liquids into our establishment. So no outside beer, wine, liquor, sodas or even bottled water.
